New jobs at PIFD Lahore for April 2024 have been announced through a recent advertisement. The Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design, Lahore, will be starting short courses in various cities, including Islamabad, Karachi, Multan, Chiniot, Gilgit Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir. Applications are invited for several posts on a contract basis. Vacant Position in PIFD & Eligibility Criteria
Lecturer:
- Number of Posts: One for each department of Fashion Design, Textile Design, Fashion Marketing & Merchandising, Furniture Design and Manufacture, Gems & Jewellery Design, Leather Accessories & Footwear Design, Ceramic & Glass Design
- Nature of Post: Purely on a contract basis initially for one year
- Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- First professional degree or diploma (minimum 4 years or equivalent awarded after 16 years of education with major in relevant field) in First Division from PIFD (PSFD / Fashion Design) or any HEC-recognized university/institution with no third division in the academic career. Teaching/work experience in an educational institution will be preferred.
Teaching Associate:
- Number of Posts: Two for each department of Fashion Design, Textile Design, Fashion Marketing & Merchandising, Furniture Design and Manufacture, Gems & Jewellery Design, Leather Accessories & Footwear Design, Ceramic & Glass Design
- Nature of Post: Purely on a contract basis initially for one year
- Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent (with major in relevant field) from a recognized university or any accredited foreign university. Experience working in an educational institution will be preferred.
